Hi all,
Not sure where to begin really..
The gist of my ‘problem’ is that 5 years ago I was made homeless because of domestic abuse. I left my ex and our owned house and was housed in a refuge for 2 years. Now I’ve been relocated and live in a beautiful 3 bedroom house with my 2 children in a pretty affluent area. My house is the only LA house in the street ( and every one knows this). I work full time. My problem is my next door neighbors ( both sides). At first, when I moved in they both were friendly, asked loads of questions about my situation etc.. The previous tenants had lived here 50 years so well before these neighbors had bought their property and had no problems. But since I’ve revealed my situation they’ve been pretty hostile.. They don’t inform me if they are having major works , one side had their house re rendered and all their shit was left on my front garden.. The other side recently had a new extension and they put the skip nearly in my garden and threw their crap in my garden.. When their kids lose footballs in my back garden they climb over my wall without asking and retrieve the balls...... And I’m now getting the cold shoulder.. if I say hello they look the other way ... sorry I know it sounds petty but it is starting to affect me ..

This is why you shouldn't be friendly with neighbours. When I moved into this house the lady next door knocked at my door and introduced herself. The minute she started being nosy and asking questions I told her I wasn't friendly and shut the door. I say hello if I see her but that's it. Defo don't make conversations with her. The less they know about you the better IMO

Call your HA and tell them what's going on. The cheeky sods shouldn't be on your property regardless if it's your house or HA
