Stepmum advice

Hi, I'm new to this site, any sort of blog to be honest! Just thought I'd try it and see if I can get any advice. I'm a stepmum to 2 girls, 10 & 13 yrs. God it's hard! Myself and partner (the 'actual' parent) don't always agree on certain things, I just find it hard sometimes and feel like I'm running backwards all the time. Any other stepmums/dads out there that can give advice? I've got loads of scenarios I can share but just thought I'd start with a quicky blog lol :-)
