Hi everyone I am a Mum of 3 twins that are 7 and a six year old. I also have 15 year old step sons. So here is my dilemma! My husband wants to move to Scotland which I completely get. I'm just really nervous about starting again. We have lived in the UAE and Canada and moved back to the small village I grew up in. We live in a lovely village and the school ia great.

I'm worried about moving my 3 kids up to a much much bigger school and them hating it! We also live close to my parents and my husbands. I know there are so many benefits of moving. ( house prices is a major one!) Its just such a hard decision!

Has anyone made a big move like this?

Hello! I think kids can adapt to a change of school without too much stress. But leaving your support network is a really big deal. Sounds like you don't want to go - have you talked through your fears with your DH?

Yeah he completely understands my fears. He just really misses his boys. Its such a big decision as we have moved around so much before. I think I'm worried about going hating it and having to move back! Maybe I'm just over thinking everything!

You are in a difficult position. I understand he wants to see his children more but your kids will miss out on their grandparents as well as you miss you support network. Horrible to say it but you and your kids have more to lose. Why can't his children travel for holidays and weekends?
