Unsure about pregnancy test

Hi - call be clueless to the 100000th degree, but i've just taken a pregnancy test and don't know if it's a positive reading or not (very story; I don't have the guide for it). I'm also COMPLETELY new to this and can't figure out how to upload a picture I've taken of the test to get some feedback. HELP!?

Stupid part is I don't know the brand. It's an unused one i had from about a year ago I had left over (so might even be out of date). Did it earlier out of curiosity and this is what back. Both lines were bright blue when i checked, looked again 15 minutes later and the 3rd diagonal was there. Not sure if that's an evaporation line?

If I were you, I would go out and get a digital one. Far easier to read, no blurry lines.

That's a Sainsbury's test.
So the little box with the one blue line in is the control box which shows what a positive line would look like and then the other box with the cross in (two lines) is the test box. The photo shows the test is positive but it's only valid (I think) if both lines appeared within the time slot for the test and the test is still in date.

Would definitely say positive, the lines very strong, if it looked that strong within 3-5mins is 100% say positive, but I'd Definitely get a digital to be sure or go to the doctors for confirmation. Good luck x

Here's a clearer picture. My gut instinct was positive too hence I'm a bit panicked...alarm set to go out and by another tomorrow

I'd say positive hun, but get another test to be on the safe side! In my last pregnancy I was adamant it was a Evap line as it was quite pale, but doctor confirmed it and said it wasn't as bold as I was only a few weeks gone my HCG levels were low and not giving out a strong hormone x

That's clearly a positive test OP.

Definitely looking positive. The test line is the bright blue vertical line which is very strong.

I've done another 3 since. All have been positive (very positive and very quickly!) Still trying to let this settle in as it's come as a big shock. Scared more than anything.

Congrats if it's good news. I'd get to the doctors now book in for a dating scan see how far gone you are.
