Bleeding six weeks gestation pregnant

My wife's last period started November 10, tested positive two weeks ago. According to apps and other calculations she is just shy of 7 weeks. Last night she had a penny sized drop of red blood in pants and has been finding trace amounts of pink blood when wiping after urination. Both are very upset, I am the one reading and researching due to her stress. We do not go to the Dr for another 2 weeks. The "research" I have done all evening has my head spinning. She does have some tenderness on the pubic bone left side but no severe cramps or abdominal pain. Thanks, from a nervous wanna be Daddy.

Hi did u manage to talk to a doctor's?
Bleeding can be completely normal in pregnancy. Are more common than u know. But all bleeding must be reported. Don't Google anything. Contact a midwife at your local hospital. They are so helpful and supportive. I'm sure everything is fine. I bled for weeks with my daughter. She's now 10 years old.

Hi I had bleeding and it stopped. I’d say pay for a private scan for the reassurance. Mine was £75 they’re quite pricey but I needed the reassurance turnt out mine was normal but any blood is a complete worry! x

I had a scan last week at what I thought I would be 9.5 weeks but was told at that scan I was 7.3 weeks and gestation sac but no baby? I’ve to go back tomorrow for second scan to see if this is a viable pregnancy or to confirm what they think, mmc? This will be my second mc in 6 months. Has anyone experienced similar things and had good outcome?
