Hi everyone - new here and cant find a relevant thread for this.
I recently went onto UC because my son started college. This is what was once child tax credits and why they changed it is beyond me. I am currently also on Housing Benefit because I'm a carer. I've been told that the Universal Credit pays your HB now which I didn't realise as I'm a bit thick! My local only deal with Council Tax. Has anyone else had this experience because its been about 2 months now and on checking my rent account the money hasn't been paid in yet. Obviously I'll get on to them but I thought I'd ask here first.
