Yes it can be robust..... I'd suggest you read 'AIBU' (Am I Being Unreasonable' for a few weeks before starting a thread there, to get the flavour.

Just to let you know you can hide topics if you want to lose stuff that doesn't apply to you anymore (maybe the questions about baby feeding or weaning, just as an example), and can customise your MN doing things such as highlighting the posts (replies) of the person who starts the thread so you can keep up in a long thread.
