I’ve been trying to work them out myself! Would be really helpful to know

There is a list of acronyms. I know this because I am an old timer but it has still taken me five minutes of searching to find the darned thing. Goodness knows how newbies are supposed to find it, or even know that it exists!

Also what does it mean when someone replies to a thread with a biscuit emoji?!

Thanks in advance!

If you look at the list of emojis underneath this thread, all the emojis are explained!

It's a very silly story.Smile MN often get people on for a webchat. Before the 2010 election they invited the leaders of the political parties on. Someone asked Gordon Brown what his favourite biscuit was. He probably feared a trap and didn't/wouldn't answer. The more people asked, the more tight-lipped he got.
So the biscuit was invented in honour of the incident, to represent 'no comment'.
