Hi, I'm a newbie. I feel a bit of a fraud, as I'm not a young Mum - I have three children, all grown up and all working away from home. No grandchildren. I find myself mainly surrounded by people of my own advanced years and I'm really interested to read the ideas and opinions of younger women - so much has changed since I had my children. I seem to have experienced most of the ups and downs of motherhood - miscarriage, giving birth including by caesarian section, breast-feeding, children's operations and life threatening illnesses, sleeplessness, teenage rebellion, divorce and happy ever after. I really look forward to reading some of the threads and occasionally chipping in.

Hello! No need to feel a fraud, honestly, you'll find all sorts here. The fact you've successfully seen three kids through to adulthood means you'll certainly have some words of wisdom for thirty-somethings like me whose dc haven't even started their school days yet
