Hi, I'm a newbie. I feel a bit of a fraud, as I'm not a young Mum - I have three children, all grown up and all working away from home. No grandchildren. I find myself mainly surrounded by people of my own advanced years and I'm really interested to read the ideas and opinions of younger women - so much has changed since I had my children. I seem to have experienced most of the ups and downs of motherhood - miscarriage, giving birth including by caesarian section, breast-feeding, children's operations and life threatening illnesses, sleeplessness, teenage rebellion, divorce and happy ever after. I really look forward to reading some of the threads and occasionally chipping in.

Hello! No need to feel a fraud, honestly, you'll find all sorts here. The fact you've successfully seen three kids through to adulthood means you'll certainly have some words of wisdom for thirty-somethings like me whose dc haven't even started their school days yet Smile

Look forward to seeing your name popping up on some threads in the future Brew

Hello!! There's lots of different types of people here, not just young mums. I hope you enjoy it 😊

Thank you both. there are so many interesting conversations going on - I'll have to limit my time here or I'll never get anything done!
