Hi everyone
Me and my bf have decided that it's time for me to stop the pill and TTC. So I took my last pill 3 weeks past Tues.. and I got a withdrawal bleed for 3 days, just 2 days later. Not had a period yet, but about a week after I stopped taking it I got a few cramps and it felt like my period was coming but nothing arrived, that lasted about a week. For the last week or so there's been a slight discharge with a very light shade of brown, but only some of the time. It's very difficult to see and there's nothing when I wipe! Is this normal because I am kind of freaking out a bit. Thanks! What other side effects has anyone had?

Is it like dried/old blood?

I came off C in the Dec, had fairly normal bleeds but by June I had a period for a long time (24 days I think) but for about ten days at the end it was like old blood. I got sent for a scan and they said everything normal. By Sept I fell pregnant. I think C can be quite a big disruption to your reproductive system but you should even put, worth booking in with GP/practice nurse though

I think everyone’s body reacts a bit differently to it, sounds about right to me but if you’re worried could always speak to your GP.

Personally had bad experience with them, 3 different pills ended in 65lbs rapid weight gain and just over 6 months straight of constant bleeding before my body couldn’t take it anymore and I stopped taking them.

I should have added, we have not yet ttc! We have not been together since 21 August which was the last day i took my pill. He is working away at the moment you see. I am def not pregnant. X
