Silent reflux and colic!! Help

Hi am new to mums net but a second time mum. My dd is 6 weeks old and has silent reflux and colic. She is bottle fed with formula. We have had a terrible time but finally got prescribed some gaviscon yesterday after she was crying and in pain most of the day. Just wondering if there is anyone else managing this issue for their newborns or has managed it with previous children and can share any advice or experiences really. Thank you so much

Can I just ask which formula LO is on? Only there have been a lot of problems with aptamil recently.

Hi originally she was on aptamil after I stopped breast feeding but I heard about the problems reported so I changed very quickly to a formula called kendamil...its an organic full cream formula...however I Think it was the wrong decision as if DD is lactose or dairy intolerant..this would be the worst formula to have her on 🙄

It would be extremely unusual for a baby to have an allergy to Lactose Kim. If you think it is an allergy to the milk, have a read of this on Allergy UK.

I’ve got CMPA and the article really helped. If you read it and still think the milk is an issue, I’d book an appointment with the GP and print it off and take it with you.
