Hi,

I'm new to the site and found out I was pregnant a few days ago. I had a miscarriage last year so am very nervous about this pregnancy and don't want to get my hopes up too much in case something has happened. I had an implantation bleed that lasted about 10 days but the blood was extremely light and dark brown which I understand is normal but since then every now and then throughout the day I will have a tiny bit of very light pink discharge. From reading posts on here I have seen that this happens to a lot of people but doesn't stop me worrying any less. I'm currently just hoping that the midwife rings soon to book in an early scan as they believe I could be about 7 weeks pregnant currently- fingers crossed so hopefully it can put my mind to ease slightly!

Hi, first of all congratulations! The worry will always be there, it was for me but to keep yourself healthy and from stressing too much you kind of have to push it to the back of your mind that anything bad will happen, I know it will be hard because you've had a miscarriage previously but it can drive you mad and into panic thinking it will happen again. If you have any more worries can you not ring the midwife or doctors and speak to them about it for peace of mind? Hope you get the answers your looking for, congratulations and best of luck, kelly x

Congratulations on your pregnancy! Just posted to keep this bumped for you really. I don't have any experience like what you've described. I've had 2 pregnancies and didn't have implantation bleeds with either of them. One ended in miscarriage but the bleeding wasn't at all like you've described.

I hope you'll start to relax a little more as you get further along and that everything goes well for you and baby. Flowers

Thank you for the congratulations, it feels nice being able to tell just somebody! I've got my scan on Thursday so fingers crossed everything is okay and my mind can be put at ease slightly! x
