How do I reply to someone and make their name bold? Thanks

Put @ before the user name I.e. @Justkeeprollingalong

I think that also sends a notification to the user that they have been mentioned.
If you just want bold, you need immediately before and immediately after the text. There can be spaces in the middle part of the text, but not between the and the initial and final characters.
I have an I in a circle just underneath this box for typing text in. There are other options, like ^ for italics.
