Hi I’m a mum of 3 grown up girls 2 of whom are parents themselves but I’m also a foster carer to 2 lovely children aged 6 and 14. Is mumsnet the right place for me to chat and get support/advice? I noticed the joining questions assumed the children I have are birth children so felt I should ask? Thanks x

MN is a space for people with and without children to chat about parenting and lots of other things.

I would assume that some issues your foster children face will need to be dealt with differently than non fostered children so you may want to poster of the fostering board of MN for the best advice.
