Non identical twins

We had a scan yesterday and are expecting twins the lady put them days apart they both have their own sac and placenta but how can they be days apart....confused

Two eggs, not necessarily released or fertilised at the same time. Congratulations.

The dating thing is a little unreliable especially when they're small. 1mm can mean a few days difference. Don't worry they'll come out together!!!

You could have ovulated twice this time, it's not unusual, and dating pregnancies isn't an exact science anyway. Congratulations
