Hi guys, first post here!

My LO is 9 months old now and he wakes up between 2-6 times a night. He has always done this since he was born so I'm used to it but as I'm going back to work soon...it needs to stop!

He is BF to sleep so yes I know, shot myself in the foot but having tried a couple things, I think I might have to resort to CIO.

LO doesn't take bottle, either formula or breast milk so I have to continue actually breastfeeding. But how does CIO work when he wakes up in the middle of the night for a feed? When I put him to bed, I'll feed him then leave him in his cot but what about when he wakes up at like 3am? He feeds til he is asleep so I don't get how CIO works there??

Any help would be appreciated!!

gentle night weaning advice here

CIO is really harsh.

Thanks for the link, I had a look.

Also, silly me, I was having another Google and I meant controlled crying as in the Ferber method...not cry it out!! Do you think Ferber is harsh too?
