I split from my childrens dad in march. Domestic violence was involved. Since then he has tried every trick in the book to get me to react in some way. I have resisted but this weekend he introduced his new gf of four weeks who he met on POF to the kids. I feel this is inappropriate. Especially since him and our 13yr old have a fractured relationship and think he needs to concentrate on resolving their issues.Would it be worth while getting contact set by a lawyer with ground rules. Also we left our home with only our clothes amd since march he hasnt paid a penny in support i didnt want to go down the CSA route but now feel he should contribute towards the kids especailly since i am having to replace all their toys etc

A lawyer can't set contact, only a judge in a court can do that. And they're unlikely to specify that your ex can't introduce his new gf, however inappropriate that may be. A court also won't set maintenance, you do need to go through Child Maintenance Service for that. Sorry.
