Acronyms Explained Please??

I have just joined Mumsnet this morning and have tried to read a few conversations.. I say "tried" because I am failing to understand half of what everyone is saying!!!!!!!!

Can someone please provide me with a list of all these acronyms and their definitions?? I've seen DH, DN, MIL, etc...

I think I've worked out that GP is Grandparent! (Pat on the back!) :D

Dear husband is dh
Mil is mother in law.

At the top of the page in large letters TALK > next to that is a button (looks a bit like a smiley face) > Click the button to get a menu including acronyms.

DC/DH/DP/DGP etc are all referring to family members. the D stands for Dear/Darling and the subsequent letters stand for Children, Husband, Partner and Grandparents in the examples I've given. There are also DD(daughter), DS (son) and various others on the theme.

other abbreviations that come up include RTFT which is Read the Full Thread, usually said in irritation at people commenting after reading the the OP(Original Post/poster) but without reading the subsequent chatter.

Also PFB is Precious First Born

Are there any others you've come across which have you stumped?

I actually expected that just to have DH etc, but it has LTB and TSSDNCOP as well

No ODFOD though, I guess MN wants us to be nice.
