My 18 year old has inseminated herself with unscreened donor sperm acquired over the internet. She lives at home and has just lost her job as she became very emotional at work and walked out. Why am I so angry ?

Because you’re worried about her and scared about what’s going to happen.

I'm not surprised. she could have an std. clearly this hasn't been thought through either. if this was through an ivf centre they would not likely have it go ahead.

Because that kind of irresponsible I'll thought out behaviour is not commensurate with parenthood.

I'd be angry too, but it's just because you love and care for her and she's put herself in danger. I hope she's ok, she'll get tested for stds in early pregnancy.
