Hi I’m 12 dpo and done a clearblue test yesterday morning which had a very faint line. I then done a cb digital one this morning which came back positive 1-2 weeks. My husband and I can’t get excited yet as last month I done 2 Superdrug digital tests which both said positive yet when I done the cb digital and various others they were all negative! Just don’t know what to trust anymore! Any advice please or similar stories?

Hi, I'm also 12 dpo, I don't know why but yesterday I just did a pregnancy test out of the blue, just had a feeling I guess. It was just a standard cb test, it came back with a faint line. I had some other Asda brand tests so did one of those too which also came back with a faint line. So I went out and bought a cb digital and another cheap brand during my lunch break. The cheap brand came back with a faint line and the cb digital came back 1-2 weeks as well. I've also done 3 tests this morning on 3 different brands all with faint lines.

I did some research online and apparently a line is a line, the depth of colour on the line is determined by how far along you are, the further along you are, the higher the concentration of hcg and therefore the darker the line. Apparently all these tests, regardless of brand, do the same thing, its just that cb is likely to be more sensitive than cheaper brands.

After 7 tests, including 2 cb positive, I'm confident of the result and have immediately made an appointment with my GP (this coming weekend).

If you want to, get a variety of brands and try them on the same day to see if you get the same results in all of them.

Thankyou but we can’t enjoy it yet as we are so scared of early miscarriage . I’m 42 and keep reading so many horror stories ☹️
