I have three children ds is number 2. He was a really happy boy until he started school. A lady who knew him at nursery actually said o me the other day ' I remember your son, he was such a character and always happy'. Now he isn't. At 8 he is a good boy, very sensible and sensitive who always does his best. But he is miserable. There is a boy in his class who is the leader, even the staff in school have told me that all the other children do as he says. My son doesn't because he says he is too bossy and he doesn't always like to play his games. As a result he is pushed out. It's a small school with only 8 boys in his year. School are trying and failing to make things better. We have looked at private options but can't afford the fees and I think that the other local schools probably won't suit him any better. There is a Steiner school locally but we can't afford that either. By choice I would like him to go there. He is artistic and loves music and French is his favourite subject. I don't think homeschooling is an option either, so I'm stuck. Does anyone have any (kind) suggestions? We live in Worcestershire
