I’ve registered because I’m a dad and just looking for tips and advice :)

Listen to your wife. Help out as much as you can. If you don't know how to do something for the baby, figure it out.

If this is your first, get a good book on infant care.

Do the job that's in front of you. When you've done that, do the next job. Repeat, repeat and repeat. And have idiotically happy grin on your face :)

Not sure how we can help based on that post Dave - if you have a specific question feel free to fire away with it, or you could look for threads about the things you want to know. But 'tips and advice for a dad' is pretty broad!

I always wanted my OH to say "is there anything I can do to help?" Even when there was nothing, the question meant a lot x
