I've been lurking around for a little while but not really posted anything much so thought I should introduce myself!

I'm a 32 year old woman living in Wales with my partner. No kids (which has me a bit worried about whether I'll be welcome on Mumsnet!!) unless you count our two gorgeous cats. I'm looking forward to trying to be more involved in the community here :)

Don't worry, there are loads of people on here without any kids (or dc = 'Dear child' or 'dear children').
There are loads of funny and interesting threads on here. A few offensive idiots but massively outnumbered by the warm, funny, clever, helpful advice on here.
Don't start a thread on AIBU unless you are feeling robust and ready to be told you might be. Other than that - go for it. Have fun
