Confused?

My partner and I have been through a lot of stuff that's effected our trust, as I guess a lot of people do, but I do find texts on his phone from his male friend saying things like "I love you more than life itself" etc.. and my parter responding to that, he has always been very close to him and the friend has came inbetween our relationship before and my parter chose to keep on his side.. I think I'm being abit over cautious because my ex partner turned out to be gay, and when I'm seeing text like that and the way they are about Eachother I can't help but wonder if there's more to it but the same time I think I'm being abit paranoid :/ also as he's really a "mans man" I find it different for him to be soppy with another man. Is anyone else's partner like this? 🤔

My fiancé has a friend that will get a bit upset if he isn’t consulted on big things eg when we got a dog he said to my fiancé why was he consulted, I take it more as a joke as doesn’t my fiancé, he just responds with because I don’t have to or pipe down so more in a banter way, sometimes the other guy goes quiet for a few days then is fine. First I thought it was weird, but I know my fiancé has it in hand and knows how to play it.

Could it be a woman but he's saved the name as a woman's? He wouldn't be the first to do that.

Nope, that’s straight up weird! His friend is either gay or it’s a woman using his name. Have you actually met this friend? If you have, is it someone you wouldn’t see very often? I think most normal people would be suspicious seeing a text like that...as a matter of interest what was his response to the text?
