How on EARTH do you reply to a thread on the app?

Scroll to the box underneath where it says 'type here'

On my phone app there are icons below the thread and one says Reply
Click that and a box appears and the keyboard comes up.

I am so stupid 😂.

I didn't even look at the bar because I thought that was the "main menu" stuff still.

That wasn't a silly question at all. Now jump in, both feet, get things wrong, have a small flame war, get the feel for the place and then suddenly you'll have a dozen or so years here under your belt.
