Hi, I am new to mumsnet. I have been reading some of the posts and noticed the abbreviations DH, DD etc and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they mean lol

My mums solicitors have got probate for her will and I want to know can they make me an interim payment till the final amount is finalised. It's a taxable estate and I've been left 40% of it
