Two gestational sac one heartbeat

Hi anyone else had scan at 6 weeks 2 days with 2 gestational sacs and 1 heartbeat to be told at later scan having twins? Heavy bleed at 5 weeks told inevitable miscarriage then scan at 6 weeks 2 days on going brown discharge help!
