MN is great community.
AIBU can be... er 'blunt',,,, read a few threads before starting a thread there.
I've learned so much over many years here. MNers can be incredibly supportive and helpful, as well as funny and interesting. There is a wide range of folk on here so you get lots of different views on everything from the most serious worries to the most trivial.

Take your time to get a feel for the boards. It can be great fun and addictive to. There's a real mix of people from a wide demographic. I used to carefully put together my responses but now I don't really care if people don"t agree with me. That's life isn't it?
