Hi there. Newbie here and need an ear to listen and support me. I am currently on holiday in Italy with my husband and step daughter. We have been here nearly a week with one to go. Over the last few days I have developed a streaming cold buthave tried to enjoy the holiday as best as possible even going to a theme park today. This evening I was really tired though so needed to come back to the apartment after our evening meal asap to recover. Husband is a drinker so said he was going to go to a bar for a bit to enjoy his time here and unwind (ie get extremely drunk). He left myself and his daughter about 10pm. It's now 3.22am and he's not back. I have a feeling he may have been arrested gor drunken behaviour as he's the sort that would piss in the street if he got desperate. I tried texting and phoning. No reply. What should I do?

I'm sorry you are going through this but I doubt there is much you can really do until the morning now. Do you have any idea which bars he might have gone to? x

None at all. It's our first holiday in this area. If he has been 'taken in' any idea what time they would let him go?

Also what should I tell his daughter? She's 15 so tends to sleep in anyway.

If by morning he isn't back I'd go to reception and ask for help as they'll know what to do to check if he has been arrested etc. I would guess he's probably got carried away tho and it'll be something you can sort out when he sobers up tomorrow.

He's just shown up (now 5am) completely pissed. Reckoned he was 'lying in the street' for 4 hours. Anyway make of that what you will. At least he is back now. So sick of these events due to drink though. Thanks for advice.
