Welcome - have a look at the MN acronyms list (think it's in site stuff) you'll find it helpful when people seem to just be using a load of random capital letters
Also, remember AIBU although fabulous, is not the place to post if you're feeling fragile, some of the responses can be very harsh. There are loads of different boards out there so just have a wander. Chat is always fun.
Mumsnet Classics (in Mumsnet Stuff) is great for a laugh if you've got hours a bit of time to spare.

Hi guys, I'm in Peterborough, just moved here 6 weeks ago and my son is 5 weeks. I'm all settled but as I'm new to the area looking to make new friends, seems a lot harder as u get older!
