Kids Access to Adult Phones.

I've recently started a relationship with a woman, things are going great but I recently found out that her 11 year old daughter goes into her mom's phone (with mom's knowledge and approval) and reads her private text messages and WhatsApp messages etc. I don't send her anything raunchy but I have mentioned holidays to Italy and a few other things for mom's eyes only, yet I'm slightly concerned to hear about this. Am I being odd for thinking a parent's phone is for the parent only?

Her child , her rules.

Whilst it is her phone and she gets to decide who looks at it, I would be open with her about the fact it makes you uncomfortable. If nothing is going to change, however, you'll just have to make sure your messages are always child-friendly.
