New mum in Stroud

I'm moving from London to Stroud in a couple of weeks and just wondered if anyone knows if there is a school bus or regular bus service that goes to Severn View Acadamy primary school from lansdown road or there abouts?? I looked but it seems the bus doesn't arrivery till after 9am!
