Party upset

Advice saught: I feel like my 6 yr old son has been left out of his friend's party invites. I want to ask his Mum (+ my friend), 'why?' and 'do you realise the upset caused?'.
But I know I can't ask!!.....so is there anything else I can do??
(PS My son seems much less bothered than me, even though his core group of friends are going and birthday boy came to our sleepover party etc etc). If you've ever felt the same, I'd love to hear from you xx

It's good that your so is relatively unbothered. Help him stay that way by not showing him that you're bothered. It'll probably happen again in the future too as, quite simply, not everyone is invited to every party. It can leave you/him feeling hurt if you've misjudged relationships but it's best just to shrug and move on in a matter of fact way.

It'll all be water under the bridge soon enough.

Thanks Pippistrelle. You're right; I feel much better today! (But I won't be inviting the offending mothers kid to my boys party or her to our parties that's for sure!!!)
