Reading the Quran during menstruation

Is this permissible if you are reading via an app as opposed to reading the physical Quran because obviously that isn't allowed. I've searched online and opinions seem to differ.

It's the touching of the mushaf that's not permitted. So an app would be fine, just like a Quran containing full English translation would be fine too, because if over half the book isn't Quran, then it isn't considered a mushaf and therefore can be read without restrictions.

So young girls can carry on with their online lessons if they are menstruating?

We had two teachers one who said it's ok as they are not touching Qur'an and one said not to.

I believe there is a difference of opinion also dependant on if you follow a specific school of thought.

Imam Malik rahimahullah and other notable scholars are of the view that the Quran can be recited but not touched or held.
