we're taking our 4 yr old and 7 mth old this year, for the first time. just wondering if anyone else has done the same? how did you find it? any advice on how to make this a pleasurable rather than stressful event? oh, and how are the loos/showers etc?

Hi

We'll be taking our 4 month old this year. We went last year (pre-baby) and it's a great festival so are pretty confident it will be fine. Loo's are just portaloos and the queues do get long although they are cleaned regulary and always seemed well stocked with hand sanitiser and paper, but Iguess you'll need a potty for your 4 year old. Showers were lovely, clean(ish) and hot but again big queues in the morning.
Unlike somewhere like glasto there is little in the way of convience shops there so best over pack nappies etc. But driving out of the site during the festival is definately possible if you needed to get out for something.
There is a camping field for families so you might want to head there
have a great time!
