RIP Alex Chilton

Big Star were a huge influence on me and many of the bands I loved as a teenager.
Alex Chilton died today a the age of 59. He was always very modest about the impact he had on the music scene, but loads of people felt he should have had more recognition.

I only heard today that he had died I wasn't a big fan of Big Star to be honest but certainly I think we need to pay some respect here.
