This morning when I unplugged my ipod touch from my car radio it froze - wouldn't turn off, play, return to the menu or anything. When I got to the office the screen had gone completely black, and when I switched it on it came up with the apple logo, which usually means it needs charging up, although I'm sure it had a full battery. At lunch time, it seemed to be working again, but when I unplugged it from the car radio it did exactly the same thing again, only this time there is no sign of life at all. Nothing happens when I connect it to iTunes.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a way to recover it, or is it officially dead? .
