Just dug out Giant Steps and put it on....

BLOODY HELL why haven't I listened to this for so long. It's WONDERFUL howling shrieking feedback and wonderful jangly guitars.

Just needed to share My musoc mojo is back and I've missed it

I'll take it as a 'no, who were they?' then!

Ah well. I waste most of my student grants on Creation Records. The cross I have to bear

I love Wake Up Boo - it reminds me of when ds1 was tiny. Boo was/is his nickname, and I used to sing it to him when I got him out of his cot in the mornings...

Nice set of lads too, fantastic live, got great memories of that lot. Best of the 'shoegazing' lot. Why did I lose touch with it all?

I love Wake Up Boo but that's the only song of theirs I remember - altho I am fairly sure I actually saw them once - an acoustic set supporting Tori Amos IIRC

i used to love the Boo Radleys.
They had a ee phase recently of playing Wake up Boo on the radio a while back and I was singing along and dh (who has no taste in music ) was slagging me off.

LOTR ahhhh, The Bunnymen are something deeply special to me. Probably made a big part of what/who I am now. The Church were something DH bestowed on me and, they are truly fantastic.

Scarborough is a great place and I love it to bits. Whitby is cracking too
