Just had a great time with DS1 (5) dancing around to the Proclaimers, 500 miles. He loves it. Can any one suggest any more rousing songs of a folkish bent?

Anything by The Levellers or The Pogues (but mind the lyrics with the latter!).

Fiesta by The Pogues

Size of a Cow by The Wonderstuff

Vagabonds by New Model Army

Fisherman's Blues by The Waterboys

Give, Give, Give Me More, More, More by The Waterboys

Tuesday Morning by the Pogues

London Girl by the Pogues

Sally McLennane by (guess who?) The Pogues

Winter Winds by Mumford and Sons

Will that do?

Blow the man down - Phil Beer
Pretty much anything Bellowhead - DD loved London Town before she was even born, jigging like a mad thing inside.
