I have an 8gb iPhone and find that there is not really enough space on there for all my music. Saying that I have apps and emails etc on there too.

For music to jog to 4gb should be plenty. If you want it for all your music you will be short of space soon.

Just checked, my Running Playlist is 395.7gb

Would it be worth looking for a second hand nano? Might be people who have upgraded at Xmas.

Just got one for Christmas and I love it! Great for running. Oh - and fill it with Green day, that'll get those legs moving!

I got the new Ipod Classic, 160gb recently and I love it. I know that's a crazy amount of space but it's worth spending the extra money (if you can obv) because it will last so much longer before you fill it up(I will tho) but I had the 8gb Ipod nano before and filled it quite quickly. I have speakers for it so I can listen at home as well. I buy most of my music on itunes (it's cheaper than CDs)and have my whole collection at the touch of a button. Tis super space saving (I live in a house the size of a shoe box).

I don't work for Apple btw, I just love my Ipod.

I think 4gb holds about 500 songs. It depends what you want it for really. How much music will you want to store on it? I use mine every day so I need variety.
