Yes! I used to be quite sniffy about it (listened mainly to classical anyway) but DH had some albums and DS#2 and DD liked them. Have since discovered that they are great running songs and just listening to them makes me feel good. DH now hates them

ohh lovely stuff, where you going to see them Harleyd? Am going to Manchester think its the first night I cant wait, never seen them before in concert. My mate got us the tickets and when I was told where we sitting (standing was sold out) i cried am going to be so close haha am sad!

Has the Odyssey sold out? I tried to get tickets for but couldn't find any on ticketmaster

standings sold out...there was still seated on friday, not sure about now tho

International and American Idiot helped me on my 6 miler last night. I can't say I prefer the older stuff as I don't really know the new stuff as yet.

i have seen them lots of times, mainly because they played at Reading/Leeds festival several years i was there. They were the first band i ever went to see properly at their own gig though (work commitments meant one festival a year and that was it) and i saw them at Brixton Academy and it was great........they have consistently been good live and i'm a tough cookie to please when it comes to live gigs!

Have just downloaded Insomniac. It's brilliant. I knew some tracks but not all of them! Will be taking running in a minute.

I was bitterly disappointed with the new cd. I thought American Idiot was ok, but loved Dookie. Another band who have not improved with age, for me.
Sold out springs to mind.

I like the new one; esp peacemaker, 21 guns, east jesus nowhere, murder city.

I don't think they've sold out so much as...well, they're essentially a different band from the one that recorded Dookie, aren't they? You can't stay 21 and angry forever. And there's only so many songs you can write about whacking off in front of the telly
