They are still one of my fave bands, even after all these years. I'm so excited about the prospect of new material and really hope I can swing it to see them play.

So anyone else out there? Or do I get Mike Patton all to myself ?

How funny, DD was dancing to them on itunes yesterday. Didn't know they were reforming but I would love to hear new stuff. I saw them twice, supporting Guns n Roses at Wembley in June 92 and then playing Brixton in November of the same year with L7 for support.

RipMacWinkle · 27/02/2009 08:54

Ooh I've never seen them live. They were a uni staple for me.

Off to check it out - ta for the heads up piximon

cmotdibbler · 27/02/2009 08:55

Notalone · 07/03/2009 15:58

Oooh - really? I adore Faith No More - Kindergarten is my all time favourite by them. And Mike Patton is a bit of alright too!

StealthPolarBear · 07/03/2009 16:02

ooh there;s a reunion!!!
No share MP

runningmonkey · 07/03/2009 16:19

Oooh yeeaaaaahh

Met MP briefly after they played in Cardiff many moons ago... totally lush! Unfortunately I was a bit too young and starstruck to jump him at the time

Did anyone see them at the Phoenix festival in stratford (95 I think), was right at the front for that one, was hoping he might live up to expectations and get naked

Woooozle100 · 07/03/2009 16:24

yes runningmonkey I was there

we shouted mike patton's willy across the campsite. Got a bit of a chant going

runningmonkey · 07/03/2009 16:27

Oh my god, do I know you... we did that!!!!

Woooozle100 · 07/03/2009 16:29

runningmonkey · 07/03/2009 16:32

Woooozle100 · 07/03/2009 16:36

runningmonkey · 07/03/2009 16:45

Small world indeed. Am good thanks, live in E Anglia now, am pg with my first (due May) and am a lot more responsible than the cider filled days of Phoenix and Reading

... Well most of the time ;)

runningmonkey · 07/03/2009 16:48

Sorry for the thread hijack folks

Woooozle100 · 07/03/2009 16:53

right will hunt you out later for a natter. Need to feed the kids now. I've narrowed you down to 1 of 2 people in my head

steering the thread back to mike patton's willy

runningmonkey · 07/03/2009 17:06

Woooozle100 · 07/03/2009 21:25

piximon · 11/03/2009 20:45

Oooh I was at Phoenix and Reading that year too. I was at the front just to the left side of the stage.

Apparently FNMs only date in UK this year will be at Download festival. DH has given me the thumbs up to go with best mate. I'm ridiculously excited.

queenrollo · 14/03/2009 15:47

i am sulking because i can't do Download.....and i really, really wanted to see FNM

MatthewBellamysMuse · 27/04/2009 23:16

I had no idea they were reforming!
I saw them live at the Hammersmith odeon in the late 80s I think.

Gillyan · 28/04/2009 00:19

I hadn't heard that, I love them...how old are they now though?

queenrollo · 06/05/2009 18:38

they announced a date at Brixton Academy and as an O2 customer i was waiting for my text alert so i could try for priority tickets. Well they didn't send them out for this and so i've damn well missed them.
I'm a little bit miffed that people with Download tickets got priority too.....they're already getting to see them, how is that fair?

sticks bottom lip out and sulks

gscrym · 06/05/2009 18:41

I went to see them years ago. Loved them when I was at school.

My niece will be going to Download so she'll tell me all about it.

queenrollo · 07/05/2009 09:56

ahhhhhhh runs around house waving arms round like a loon

i got tickets

i am wrongly excited about this.....
