Cramps frontman Lux Interior dies

Dunno if anyone on here has heard of them, but thought I would share...

one who's heard of him here - in fact saw them play in Brighton many years ago...

quite shocked to hear the news this morning. sadly, never got to see them live. was all dressed and ready to go in the 80's but mum wouldn't let me because i had a maths exam the next day. still occasionally listen to "smell of female".

glad I'm not alone, as it were!

I missed seeing them in the 80's too. Can't remember why now, think I spent my money on seeing the Damned instead. Fortunately I did manage to see them a few times more recently, the best one being in Las Vegas a couple of years ago (very lucky, went over for friend's wedding and found out they were playing 2 days later)

saw then in the 80s- one of the best gigs ever. Lux climbed up the rigging and exposed himself, it was so funny. The Cramps are one of my fav bands

He used to dj and said the punks always went ape for this one

Saw them in Portsmouth in the 80s...

Sigh. I must be getting old, I s'pose...

Well I never saw them (most of my friends did for some reason I never got round to it) - never will now but I will always remember how dangerous it was on the dancefloor of the Warehouse in Preston when they were played.
