I always find music chills me out and have always wanted the radio on in the background during previous labours ,but now I have my lovely shuffle so can take my own music in.
TBH I probably wont give a toss whats playing when things get going But for early labour it will help me concentrate and relax.
I like most music apart from heavy metal stuff.

Any ideas .

i had looked out kate bush's sky of honey (disc 2 of aerial)

and vashti bunyan's lookaftering

but of course i forgot to take them in all the hullaballoo.

the only song i can remember playing on the radio was lionel ritchie's "all night long" which made me and dp laugh

Devendra Banharth: The body breaks
Bob Dylan: Boots of spanish leather, Don't think twice its alright
PJ Harvey: Dear Darkness
Nick Drake: Free ride, from the morning, Know, pink moon
Radiohead: Lozenge of my love
Can: sing song swan
Anthony and the Johnsons: Hope there's someone

Sorry, Twoboots, am PMSL at your DH including The body breaks, and Don't think twice

Did he consider Push It, Salt'N'Pepa?

He's a bad lad!

How about some David Gray/Massive Attack, Five+??

I had ABBA playing for the first two, quite by coincidence.

Can't remember WHAT was playing last time.
