I am bored of all my music

apart from The Proclaimers (you can never be bored of The Proclaimers)

so I thought I would go to the library and borrow some. As it is a library they will not have many of the albums that you youngsters bought last week

So. Albums that you have had for a while and you still love. And are not sick of. And are not The Proclaimers.

What sort of stuff do you generally like though (apart from the Proclaimers )

As an aside, DT's favourite band is the proclaimers, and he also likes the Wombats (but they're very recent). Maybe there's some strange cosmic link between the two that means you would like them too? (they are very good btw)

TillyScoutsmum · 18/07/2008 09:55

OK - may not be your thing but my "never get bored" albums are

Our Town - Deacon Blue

Carry on up the Charts - Beautiful South

Hot Fuss - The Killers

Albums I listen to on a regular basis

Depeche Mode - Ultra
Crowded House - Together Alone
The Crow soundtrack
Buffy Soundtrack
The Cure - The Top

Apart from those I listen to lots of crap compilation albums as I get bored easily - maybe they'd be an idea? You'd get to listen to a range of bands/music rather than sit through an album of something you might not like?

Cappuccino · 18/07/2008 11:02

can't say the Wombats are working for me really

so, no cosmic link there then.

I like good words, really, I think.

oh I did used to like dh's old Prince albums

and I had a Deacon Blue one, god, that was a while back

and Buffy - ah, I used to listen to OMWF but it would make me sad
