Which bands do you really love? Opposed to those that you just like, or don't mind. And what makes you love them so much? I have a couple of bands that I love fiercly, and even get offended when people say they don't like them .

The Beatles - So much that I actually went on a Beatles weekend in Liverpool. I went on the magical mystery tour, visited the cavern club etc I loved it!

The Go Betweens. Neither of them sang particularly well. Their guitar playing was very average. Their early stuff is awkwardly angular, their later stuff borders on MOR. They were the greatest band on earth.

Big black
The smiths
Echo and the bunnymen (probably the most underrated band on the planet and Will Sargeant is the most underrated guitarist on the planet)
Oh and the Flatmates, just because they are 80s circa C86 girlband bliss.
