Which bands do you really love? Opposed to those that you just like, or don't mind. And what makes you love them so much? I have a couple of bands that I love fiercly, and even get offended when people say they don't like them .

The Smiths, obsessive type love
The Charlatans, make me smile type love
Pavement, sing out loud type love

Manic Street Preachers - Remind me of my misspent youth
The Beatles - So much that I actually went on a Beatles weekend in Liverpool. I went on the magical mystery tour, visited the cavern club etc I loved it!

avenged sevenfold. the music is brilliant and they are very cute(m shadows is mine)
metallica. brilliant songs with great lyrics.
linkin park are just so sing a long. except when shit head is featured.

White Stripes

Super Furry Animals

Pixies

Nirvana

Sonic Youth

and Half Man Half Biscuit

The Go Betweens. Neither of them sang particularly well. Their guitar playing was very average. Their early stuff is awkwardly angular, their later stuff borders on MOR. They were the greatest band on earth.
