My dd16 has been listening to them a lot and wants to go see them. Does anyone know what their gigs are like and if it would be safe for her. Should i go with her? i was never s big concert goer so not really sure

They are a cool band! She has good music taste. Definitely go she will be as safe at any other gig.

It’ll be very similar to any other similar sized bands gig. She’ll be fine but go with her (or get someone else too who you trust).

i might send her aunt as shes much more experienced with this kind of thing (ill pay for her ticket obviously)

Good luck getting a ticket, they are like gold dust!

Blimey, do 16 year olds take mums and aunties to gigs these days?

WhatNextImScared · 06/03/2026 17:53

Yes she’ll be safe. Unless her auntie is considered cool company who she actively wants to hang out with, she won’t need a chaperone. She’ll be fine going in with a friend(s).

Also this - small venues and huge hype. It will be like trying to see Suede in 1993.

Newgirls · 06/03/2026 18:05

we tried to get tickets and no joy

stapletonsguitar · 06/03/2026 18:23

You’ll be lucky to get tickets, they’ve sold out everywhere. Dd has been hunting for tickets for weeks and has ended up booking to see them abroad.

No don't call her half way through. Ask her to let you know she is there safely and leave it there.
