Oboe reeds anyone?

I've used regency reeds for years but haven't been impressed recently.
I've had Crook and Staple recommended.
Does anyone use them and can recommend a particular reed?
Experienced (ex grade 8) once a week player.

My son plays bassoon and I’ve found Howarth’s in London really helpful with reeds (even by phone). I’m sure someone with better advice will be along soon!

My sister has played for years and she is happy with this brand.

@ShetlandishMum do you which ones she uses? They don't do returns unlike regency.

@LemonVerbenaGeranium I'd forgotten about Howarths - we're in London during half term so will pop in!

@HappyHolidays75 Enjoy Howarth’s - I bet you end up buying more than you went in for!!

Second vote for Howarths. My child is at conservatoire and was still using their academy ones until recently. ( Makes her own now). Another website to check out would be Bridie Bloor reeds.
