Trying to get some for my daughter. The pressure is real. Why can't we just buy them in a record shop like the good old days?

I wasn’t sure where you put the code either, not that I got that far! I kept putting it in the offer code box.

Fifiellz · 26/01/2026 21:39

When you choose your seats they all have a lock sign - to reserve the seat you put in the code. It does prompt you when you click on the seat

SabreIsMyFave · 26/01/2026 21:47

You have my sympathy honestly @boinoo and so do all the others going through the same!

I am so glad I had young kids/teenagers in the noughties and early 2010s. Used to phone the NEC or the NIA in Birmingham, or the MEN arena in Manchester, (the 2 places we would usually go to concerts and shows,) and order the tickets over the phone, and pay for them with my debit card, then they'd come about a month before the concert (in the post!)

Some bands and artists were £25 to £37 a ticket then. The most I paid was about £46 a ticket. I would wait on the phone 5-10 minutes to get through. That's it.

The ticket prices are eyewatering now. Along with how ridiculously difficult it is to get the bloody things in the first place, I am glad my DC are now well into inependent adulthood!

Good luck everyone!

SnowDaysAndBadLays · 26/01/2026 22:34

I've got front standing for the first night for £370.
I'm over the moon, I've been at every tour since the beginning for all the boys.

SparklyGlitterballs · 26/01/2026 22:36

My DD is so frustrated. She queued ages and when she finally got let in she was in a Teams call and couldn't do anything about it. She's livid but will try again tomorrow.

YouCanLetItGo · 26/01/2026 23:00

It was a mess. I had tickets in my basket and it wouldn’t let me check out, kept freezing, said it wouldn’t reserve the tickets (I wanted to buy them, not reserve them!) then it kicked me out and by the time I got back in there was nothing left.

the seats I had for LOT were about £130. The same seats were £400+ this time….ridiculous!

Thewonderfuleveryday · 27/01/2026 07:13

I think it works best if you choose all your seats (tick them green) before you put in your code. I ticked one seat, popped it in my basket and the code and then it wanted to send me to the checkout. For the life of me I have no idea how I got back to the seat map to choose all my tickets. That aged me about a decade.

I've never done a live sale before. Only ever got last minute restricted views that I didn't need to queue for.

My mum sent postal orders for her stones and beatles tickets in the sixties.

Loveacadburyscreamegg · 27/01/2026 11:35

As a Saturday would work better for me and DD I thought I’d give today ago too. I cannot believe it but I got a position in the 3,000’s again! I have no idea how bit it seems quite a coincidence it was similar to yesterday’s queue number. 🤯

This time as I knew what to expect/ to do - I was quick and managed to secure the top tier front row cheaper seats. I’ll be reselling Friday’s tickets when they open that bit up on Ticketmaster.

Wow what did you do? I joined dead on half past and was 65000th, this seemed hopeful as it was half of what I was yesterday at 10:33! All the top tier seats weren’t available to buy despite there being lots of blue, which I basically watched disappear!

Fifiellz · 27/01/2026 13:31

Being in the waiting room on time doesn’t make any difference. I joined again today for the 20th as my friend wanted tickets but can’t get in at work. I joined the waiting room at 10.54 and was number 2507 in the queue. In and checked out in 10 minutes. It’s just luck as it’s all randomised. Wish I had known that yesterday 😩

Fizbosshoes · 27/01/2026 13:54

I tried yesterday and today. I tried on phone and laptop simultaneously, at 11am and 2pm yesterday, and 11am today. Each time the laptop had a way longer queue after the waiting room. This morning logging on both at same time 43k in the queue on my phone, 104k in the queue on the laptop.
I got to the front of the queue twice (from 45k it took just over an hour) but it froze when I went to check out the first time, and DD had already managed to get tickets 2nd time so I didnt continue.

Nowmum43 · 27/01/2026 14:06

My DH called yesterday (DD has an access card and you could only book direct through Wembley) he was on the phone for 3 hours but got us 4 ticket in block 104 for £150 each.
I’ve seen on resale that tickets in the block are going for £500 each! I’m not sure if we got them for a good price or not!

Rocketpants50 · 27/01/2026 14:09

My dd managed to get some for £50. Up high but for that price not complaining!

I sort of repeated what I did yesterday - I went on about 28/29 mins before it opened and that was it really. It was all done on my mobile.

He’s released even more dates this afternoon so you’ll have more chances 🙂

bowchicawowwow · 27/01/2026 17:39

I got some today too. Went in the waiting room at 10.30 and joined the queue at 12k. All purchased and travel booked by 11.30am

distinctpossibility · 27/01/2026 18:22

I wondered how I managed it but the randomised number thing absolutely makes sense. I was 9057 in the queue, 6 tickets for 20th June all checked out by 11.16am. I am so thrilled, I love HS and now I will be able to go with all my kids and DH. I feel like I waited for this since traipsing round the country to see 1D as a 19 year old...

My tickets were £420 for the 6, which I cannot complain about. The Travelodge was £300 a room though 😂

HibiscusIsland1 · 27/01/2026 20:45

I was in the queue for 4 hours for 19th yesterday and got nothing. Today I thought no way am I bothering. Went on at 6pm this evening expecting nothing and got 3 single tickets in high blocks for me and friends in 27th. Did them in 3 separate transactions. Each around the £85 mark. Am thrilled. We don't mind sitting apart for the show itself (we're middle aged women). I am thrilled. I went to Coldplay on my own last September and had a fantastic time so thst doesn't faze me. My advice would be to go and have a look, keep refreshing and then add to basket quickly! This was getting in via AMEX pre sale link from his website.

3luckystars · 27/01/2026 20:52

I got 2 today and am absolutely delighted. I am so so happy.

freezingmytoesoff · 28/01/2026 09:14

I managed to get 2 tickets for the 27th after 2 days of failing and hours and hours in the queue, only for my friend to tell me she's on holiday that day and forgot... so will be trying again in general sale for a date she can do and then hopefully sell these ones...

Anjo2011 · 28/01/2026 14:23

I was at home on my own only one device, my iPad, was 500 in the queue got one ticket for my daughter she’s in one of the pods at the front ‘square’ for the last night. Have been in lots of queues and didn’t do anything different today I guess I just got lucky. Good luck to everyone in the ticket rush. It’s stressful.

3luckystars · 28/01/2026 16:20

She will be absolutely delighted with that!!

Thewonderfuleveryday · 08/05/2026 18:04

It's next month now. He's been rehearsing and starts in Amsterdam next week.
There'll be more movement in the tickets with resales popping up.

I'm so excited I'm going first and last nights at Wembley, just ordered a tie yesterday for the last night!
I have ideas about what I think were getting and so hope the red shorts are included!

3luckystars · 10/05/2026 21:48

Im going next week and I cannot wait!!!!

Thewonderfuleveryday · 14/05/2026 08:35

Just a warning for the 17th and 19th June's wembley gigs, there's a tube strike so they may need to be cancelled / rescheduled. Coldplay had to reschedule last year as they couldn't get a licence without sufficient transport.
