PRESCHOOL CLASS LEADERS HELP! I am setting up a preschool music class that will be promoted in my local area. 1 hour sessions for parents and child.I want to use Children’s songs/nursery rhymes to accompany part the structure to keep interest and include movement. I have looked at royalty free songs bit they are not as upbeat as lots of songs on Spotify etc.
I have been searching and going round in circles. The music licence told me I don’t require a licence as long as the venue holds one (looking at church halls etc)
I also want to promote to go into nursery settings I know that are nurseries are supposed to get a licence to play CDs but I know a lot don’t have a licence so unsure if I can rely on the venue having one in this instance.
Any class leaders willing to share advice please, do you licence yourselves or rely on venues?
what streaming platform do you use as Spotify says only for personal but I also know lots of classes that use this? Lots of commercial streaming has costs that are not possible for this venture but aimed at cafes etc.
I don’t want to buy a franchise as I believe I have a good class plan idea for a great business!
Thank you any help really appreciated
